Dreamers Bar and Grill opened on the 21st of March 2007. After seven long months of remodeling, owners Peter and Lisa Caron, were eager to start stocking shelves and filling coolers. Peter, being in the construction industry for the past twenty years, was excited to take on the job of remodeling. With some helping hands from friends and family; sweat, tears, and a whole lot of TLC went into Dreamers. Bill Peluso, Peter's step-father, played a major role in helping out! The Caron's main goal was to clean up the previous bar. They wanted to put in a nice place where families could come for dinner and friends could meet for an appetizer and a few drinks.

It had always been a dream of the Caron's to open and run a restaurant. Being residents of North Brookfield, Barre was a prime location for the bar and grill, especially being located on busy Route 122 (Worcester Road).

Menu and drink prices are affordably priced. Choices range from nachos and burgers to lobster rolls and prime rib. The bar has chilled shots, 25oz beers, and a variety of liquor so you can customize your mixed drinks. Dreamers also airs all of the big sports games on their flat screen HD TV.

Lisa being in the DJ/Karaoke industry (Cut-A-Dream) for the past twelve years wished to incorporate that into Dreamers as well; and she sure did. You can find her smiling face behind the DJ booth every Friday and Saturday night. Peter does most of the cooking himself, except on busy Friday nights when his sister-in-law, Darlene Josephson, steps in and lends a hand. Lisa and Peter's three children also take part in the bar and grill. Erika, oldest of the three, you can find behind the bar regularly serving drinks and occasionally waiting tables. Their middle child Kristen also helped when they were first getting their feet on the ground. You could usually find her behind the bar. She now resides in Gunnison, Colorado. Last but not least youngest and only son Travis will occasionally be found in the kitchen with mom and dad doing dishes. Lisa's brother Wayne Josephson helps out bartending as well. Other then family Dreamers has a few close family friends working for them. Another goal of theirs was to keep the bar and grill family ran.

Dreamers has a private party room that can be rented for birthdays, holiday parties, showers, and company meetings, just to name a few. With the room rental comes the option of picking your own menu. Another option is children's karaoke birthday parties. Not only do the children get to sing but they also get pizza and drinks. (Call Dreamers Bar and Grill for more information.)

Dreamers Bar and Grill is open five days a week, with specials and entertainment weekly. Dreamers is also handicap accessible. So if you're looking for a place with a comfortable atmosphere, great foods, and ice cold drinks at affordable prices, please come check them out!
